Forest Seedlings

For children 10-36 months and their caregivers

10-Week Sessions | 9:00am - 10:30am | Tuesdays

About our Forest Seedlings Program

We are excited to welcome families to our caregiver-child program with group classes that support the healthy physical, social, and emotional development of young children. Seedlings classes nurture parents and children and are a warm welcome to New Amsterdam School, and an introduction to Waldorf education. Our weekly classes incorporate activities specially designed for infants and toddlers, such as games, songs, finger-plays, and also include time for conversation and parenting support.

Our Forest Seedlings classes meet at El Jardin del Paraiso, a beloved NYC GreenThumb garden which New Amsterdam has has a relationship with for the last 12 years. During the class, children can play with toys made from natural materials, and explore the garden environment with their teacher and caregivers.
